1 Opifex

I’m Rhakeem, a multidisciplinary Creative Director, Designer, and Music Producer with over a decade of executive leadership experience across major retail brands including Apple, Target, and Sunglass Hut, and more than 15 years of creative work spanning design, sound, and technology. 

My background in leadership sharpened my ability to balance vision with execution. I’ve built teams, managed multi-market operations, and delivered brand consistency at scale. I hold a degree in Graphic Design from CT State College and a degree in Music Composition and Double Bass from the University of Bridgeport, which provide the formal foundation for my creative practice. Today, that same precision and discipline drives my work across design, sound, and multimedia storytelling. 

As founder of 1 Opifex Design Studio, I help brands, artists, and entrepreneurs translate imagination into identity through design, sound, video editing and AI. My Signature Creative Systems deliver agency-level quality with independent studio agility, spanning brand identity, e-commerce launches, cinematic AI visuals, and sonic branding.

Parallel to my studio work, I develop Aeon Dendrahlis — an original transmedia universe expressed through music, literature, and visual narrative. Under the name 1 Opifex, I’ve released three full-length albums available on all major streaming platforms, exploring sound as a storytelling medium. The project extends to YouTube, where visual worldbuilding and original compositions expand the mythology, and to Substack, where Dendrahlis: 2199 unfolds as an ongoing sci-fantasy series.

Across platforms, my work integrates rhythm, narrative, design systems, and emerging technology into cohesive multimedia experiences.

I’m passionate about bridging art, commerce, and consciousness — building work that is strategically sound, emotionally resonant, and structurally scalable.
